Assessment + Diagnostic Program
(Currently available only at our Los Angeles location)
Effective treatment requires a clear diagnosis. Camden Center’s two-week Assessment + Diagnostic Program provides patients with a clear diagnosis of their condition, determined by a comprehensive psychiatric, medical, and functional evaluation performed by a team of expert clinicians from a broad range of specialties. Once these assessments are complete, the patient’s care team creates a clinical summary outlining diagnostic results and therapeutic recommendations.
Patients are accompanied by a care partner around the clock and live at our luxury residence.
The multidisciplinary assessment includes the following components:
- Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation
- Comprehensive Medical Physical Evaluation
- Whole Body Medical Imaging (CT Coronary Angiogram and whole body MRI) Neuroimaging (brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with NeuroQuant)
- Functional Medicine Assessment and Evaluation
- Comprehensive Blood and Stool Testing
- Neuropsychological Testing
- Biopsychosocial Assessment
- Vocational Testing/Assessment (aptitude, strong interest inventory, personality measure)
- Nutritional Assessment
- Sleep/Behavioral Assessment
- Family Dynamics Assessment
Recommendations for aftercare treatment are highly individualized, based on clinical issues, resources, motivation for additional treatment, and geographic considerations. Each individual’s aftercare plan is a collaborative effort between the clinical team, the patient, and family members if indicated.
HOUSING
While participating in our Assessment + Diagnostic Program, patients live at Camden Residences, a partner of Camden Center. With modern architecture and amenities, our luxury residences are a short distance from Camden Center clinical offices and are located in safe, vibrant residential neighborhoods. Each patient is matched with a personal 24/7 care partner who provides support and transportation, assists with medication storage and accounting, and communicates directly with the patient’s clinical team. Each resident has their own private room with an en suite bathroom. Camden residences are mixed gender and capped at a maximum of 3 to 4 residents.
Kitchens are stocked with coffee, tea, and bottled water. Lunch and dinner are chef-prepared to meet the needs and preferences of each resident. A weekly budget is provided to each resident’s care partner to purchase breakfast foods requested by the resident.
