Catherine Roberts, PhD, LMFT is the Chief Clinical Officer at Camden Center and specializes in the treatment of trauma and addiction. She received her Ph.D in psychology and has extensive research experience in the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder.

Dr. Roberts completed the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) training under Dr. Patrick Carnes and Dr. Kenneth Adams, as well as training in Post-Induction Therapy (PIT) with Pia Mellody. She is extensively trained in various treatment modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), DBT for Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), Attachment-Focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP). Dr. Roberts is also a member of Dr. Allan Schore's study group focusing on developments in Attachment Theory and affect regulation. Dr. Roberts' clinical experience includes treatment of addictive disorders, chronic mental illness, developmental trauma, relational trauma, and eating disorders.

In her role as Chief Clinical Officer at Camden Center, Dr. Roberts oversees clinical operations at our Los Angeles and San Francisco facilities.
