Sanno Zack

Sanno Zack, PhD, received her bachelor’s degree from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. She received her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University in State College, where she trained in both adult and child and adolescent psychology.  

Dr. Zack completed an internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University in California.  

She is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) through Behavioral Tech and completed advanced DBT training with Marsha Linehan.

Dr. Zack directs the Stanford adult DBT team and consults to DBT and trauma-focused programs and practitioners in the community.

She is an Emory University peer-certified Prolonged Exposure (PE) for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) consultant. She also supervises trainees in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), DBT PE, and DBT PTSD for trauma.  

At Camden Center, Dr. Zack leads the comprehensive DBT team in San Francisco and helps guide program development, teaching, and training.
