Reina Remigio, PhD, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where she assisted in various research projects at the UCSD Center for Functional MRI.

She received her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology and master’s-level certificate in creative expression at Sofia University in Palo Alto, California, emphasizing a whole-person approach to psychology.

Dr. Remigio is trained in Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), DBT (foundational), Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Motivational Interviewing.

Her clinical background includes serving diverse populations in primary care integrated behavioral health and inpatient departments at the San Mateo Medical Center in California.

She also worked in forensic, residential, skilled care, and community mental health settings. Dr. Remigio has provided supervision and training to pre- and post-doctoral clinicians in those settings.
