Paul Gutrecht, LMFT, is a certified anger management specialist and fellow of the National Anger Management Association. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English and Economics from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles.

Paul completed his clinical training at The Maple Counseling Center in Los Angeles and at Family Service of Santa Monica. He received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) from Behavioral Tech, and is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  

Paul previously helped open an intensive outpatient treatment program in Santa Monica, where he became an intake coordinator while working with clients individually and in groups.

In addition to treating depression, anxiety, addiction, and childhood trauma, Paul specializes in treating couples in conflict. He also specializes in co-parenting for couples who separated or divorced but are committed to providing the best possible experience for their children.

At Camden Center, Paul runs Anger Management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, Reintegration, and Recovery Skills groups. He also works individually with patients in arenas that include DBT, reintegration, addiction, and anger.
