Eric Strang, PsyD, earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where he specialized in both psychodynamic and existential-humanistic psychotherapies. His dissertation was titled “Metaphor and the Verbalization of Affect.”

Dr. Strang has provided individual and group psychotherapy in residential settings for the past decade and specializes in trauma and mood disorders. He is a practical clinician who draws from an array of psychological approaches to assist patients in achieving their goals.

His therapeutic approach is aimed at understanding and integrating the dissonant thoughts and feelings at the core of most problems. He draws on a wide range of training and experience in the application of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, existential-humanistic, and developmental approaches in the treatment of trauma.

At Camden Center, Dr. Strang provides group and individual psychotherapy.
