Natalie Sheckter, LCSW, MSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for helping her patients achieve their goals and enhance their well-being. Natalie earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Social Work from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
During graduate school, Natalie trained at the UCLA Resnick Adult Partial Hospitalization Program, UCLA Spanish Speaking Psychosocial Clinic, and Harbor-UCLA Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic. She treated adults and adolescents in individual and group psychotherapy.
Natalie previously worked at Harbor-UCLA Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic and Behavioral Medicine Clinic in Torrance, California. Her clinical work has focused on treating co-occurring psychiatric, medical, and addictive disorders.
Natalie is intensively trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Natalie is certified in CBT by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. She has extensive experience leading process groups for adults experiencing psychosis.
At Camden Center, Natalie provides individual psychotherapy and facilitates DBT and CBT groups. She is also DBT team lead at the Los Angeles location.
