Diane DeMartino

Diane DeMartino, LCSW, is a highly skilled licensed psychotherapist with a specialization in behavioral treatment for borderline personality disorder and mood disorders. Holding a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, her studies emphasized Systems of Recovery from Mental Illness in Adults.

Diane's therapeutic approach is backed by extensive training and certifications in several behavioral therapies. She is recognized by the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies for her proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Additionally, she is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE) for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) through Harbor-UCLA's Psychology Training Program.

Diane has expanded her expertise by undergoing specialized DBT training, focusing on treatment for parents, couples, and families; adults with eating disorders; Substance Abuse Disorders; and complex PTSD. These trainings were conducted by esteemed institutions including the Center for DBT & Families, Sick Kids CCMH Learning Institute, Portland DBT Institute, and Behavioral Tech, respectively.

Diane's extensive clinical experience spans work with adults, transitional age youth, couples, and families. She has provided individual and group treatments in diverse settings ranging from community clinics to private practice, including Harbor-UCLA Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic, Pacific Clinics, San Fernando Valley DBT, and her own private practice. Additionally, she has supervised master's-level clinicians working towards licensure.

At Camden Center, Diane has contributed her expertise in numerous roles, such as facilitating DBT and CBT groups, offering individual therapy, serving as Comprehensive DBT Program Regional Director, and Co-Clinical Director for the Los Angeles region. As the current DBT National Director, Diane oversees DBT across all Camden sites, aids in the development of training programs, and provides clinical supervision.
