Zoë Meroney

Zoë Meroney is Camden Center’s Director of Human Resources. She has spent her career in people focused roles from the United Nations to Hospitality to startups. Zoë most recently completed a post baccalaureate in Psychology at UC Berkeley and is currently completing a Professional in Human Resources certification with the Human Resource Standards Institute. Prior to that, Zoë earned an MA in International Affairs from the New School and a BA in History at the University of Georgia.

An Atlanta native, Zoë spent a decade in New York where she worked for the UN, specializing in resilience and social cohesion programs. She then moved to the private sector as Business Operations Manager for SevenFifty, a wine industry startup. She was deeply involved in all facets of the business, including HR, systems, and finance. Next was a move to LA where she built out Business Operations and Human Resources for Syng, Inc., a spatial audio startup. She was involved in every aspect of launching and running Syng, expanding its staff and contractor base across four continents. Perhaps most importantly, she lead widely dispersed teams through the worst of the pandemic.

In her role as Director of Human Resources she combines her passions for building scalable systems and creating meaningful and engaging work environments.
